About this item

  • High-Flow Emitter: The 0.5 GPH pressure-compensating dripper delivers a controlled flow rate to a specific location, ideal for efficient irrigation of plants, trees, or shrubs.
  • Versatile Application: Designed for orchards, vineyards, and container-growing setups, it easily connects to 1/8" tubing and manifolds for flexible use in various irrigation systems.
  • Pressure Range: Provides a consistent 2 LPH (0.5 GPH) flow rate, maintaining efficiency within a pressure range of 7.25 to 58 psi.
  • Advanced Engineering: This dripper ensures uniform and accurate water distribution, featuring a built-in check valve to prevent line drainage and reduce the risk of clogging.
  • Optimal Precision: Achieve precise water application with reliable, high-performance control, making it a dependable choice for a wide range of irrigation needs.

The 0.5 GPH PCJ Pressure-Compensating Dripper (model 21500-001000PCJ) delivers 2 liters/hour (0.5 GPH) at pressures from 15 to 60 psi, ideal for irrigating individual plants. It features a 1/8" barbed outlet, which can distribute water directly or be connected to 1/8" Super Flex tubing, secured at the plant base using an Angle Barb stake for precise water delivery. This dripper's pressure-compensating (PC) design ensures a consistent flow rate across varying pressures. It includes a check valve that prevents water from draining when pressure drops, avoiding leaks at lower points in the system. Additionally, its flow channel is precision-molded to resist clogging, ensuring reliable water distribution. When using acid treatments, maintain proper irrigation system care: If water pH is below 3.0, don’t irrigate for more than an hour. Flush the system with clean water (pH 5.5-7.5) afterward. When pH is below 5.5, avoid injecting fertilizers or disinfestation products. If pH is above 5.5, you may inject substances, but monitor pH closely to stay between 5.5 and 8.0. For CNL drippers, flush the system with clean water (pH 5.5-7.5) after each cycle and periodically open the dripper line ends to ensure proper drainage and prevent blockages, ensuring long-term system efficiency.
