  • Range :Built-in 800Hz audio modulation, with the analog digital CTCSS function. Increase the analog sub-tone digital sub-tone function, strong anti-interference ability, is not interfered. The unit is DBM. General hand sensitivity is -120DBM to -130DBM.
  • Range :Built-in 800Hz audio modulation, with the analog digital CTCSS function. Increase the analog sub-tone digital sub-tone function, strong anti-interference ability, is not interfered. The unit is DBM. General hand sensitivity is -120DBM to -130DBM.
  • Wide Application : Suitable for FM debugging. Generator is widely used in aviation, communication, automotive electronics, manufacturing and other fields. It is absolutely forbidden to press the intercom button to transmit when testing. (self-matching power supply 8V-12V power supply polarity is positive and negative)
  • Function : Generator 0.5MHz-470MHz RF Generator Meter Tester for FM Radio Debug Digital CTCSS Singal Output. The accuracy comparison between this source and professional comprehensive measurement is basically the same. The accuracy is very high. Can test the actual receiving sensitivity.
  • Test methods: During the test, the frequency of the source input transceiver is first set to -100DB or any value. The intercom has audio output and then reduces the output strength of the source. For example, the -120DB just heard the intercom audio but there was noise. The audio just hears that the -120DB value of this output is the receiving sensitivity of the radio.
  • High Quality : Small in size and light in weight, it can be operated with one hand, allowing the operator to reduce wrist fatigue. The audio generator module is integrally formed with a glossy shell without burrs and smoothly installation. The generator shell is made of ABS material, which can resist oxidation and and increase the service life.

No power supply, no instructions, and the one I received produced no signal at all. Do yourself a favor, just buy a DDS.

Does NOT come with power supply source, Operating manual, or Instructions of any kind. While it does seem to function, requires a great deal of guesswork to build your own instructions.

Purchased this same unit from another vendor on Amazon in 2021. Its behaviors are a bit quirky, with up buttons causing some values to go down and the down button causing values to go up, but I adapted. It is acceptable for doing some basic tests of an FM transceiver. It is a dirt cheap product and built like a kids toy you would buy at family dollar, but it operates.Over the last month the display is starting to fail by displaying random sets of pixels that are starting to mask what the unit is actually doing. Which bogus pixels appear various with what settings I am trying to change. At the present decline rate, I expect it will be useless in about another month or two.

The little signal generator made by Dpofirs is a little jewel of a device. But it comes with a catch. That is a very large language barrier that even with persistence I was only partly able to overcome. They don't yet understand what is meant by an owners' manual. The display. The left most item in the first line is the frequency in MHz. Next is the output level expressed in DBM, dB referenced to 1 milliwatt. The range is -132 dBm to -70 dBm. Moving down to the second line of the display the first item is a total enigma to me. Mine came out of the box with this value set to all zeros. You will probably want to play with it as I have but when using it for serious work set it back to all zeros. Next in line is narrow band FM sine wave modulation. All you have here is a choice of 0, 1, 2, or 3, kHz. This is the tone frequency not the deviation. Set to zero turns off the modulation. The last item in the second line appears to be a firmware version number. The keypad. As you can see from the picture the keypad has the numbers zero through 9, four function keys, and up and down arrows. The function keys are as follows.F1 – select parameter to be entered numerically, changed by up and down arrows, or operated on by F3 and F4.F2 –Delete key. It works exactly the same as the delete key on your PC keyboard.F3 – RF on/off. Turns the RF output on and off but only when the cursor is pointing to this value. (Cursor coverage in a moment.)F4 – FM on/off. Provides an alternative way to turn the modulation on and off. Also works only when selected.Data entry. The cursor is a less then or greater than sign. It appears between the two numbers and points like an arrowhead to the one that is selected. You can't change the version number. When entering a frequency you must enter all leading and trailing zeros. For example the frequency you see displayed in the picture was entered by pressing 0 2 8 1 5 0 0. When you select the output level if you enter a number which is outside the limits of -132 to -70 the value will revert to the nearest value to what you entered. Although these values are all negative, pressing the up arrow makes the value more negative.Home Made Accessories. There are any number of features we might wish for but they would only increase the price. For higher RF output levels an amplifier can be constructed. It could also incorporate an amplitude modulator and a frequency down converter for aligning IF amplifiers and detectors. In spite of its lack of a comprehensive instruction manual, and features we wish it had, it is well worth the price.
