My old lock-box had been having lock issues for 10 years. I finally bent the key so badly that it wouldn't come out of the lock. This lock dropped in to the existing hole and although I had to squeeze the lockbox cover a bit, I was able to install the internal clip and after that the correct one of the latches and the new lock works perfectly. The cost of the lock was way less than the cost of replacing the box, so, very happy.Overall quality seems solid and with the variety of latches included, it should be a good retrofit for many different situations.

Testing it with the included keys, this lock operates smoothly and seems to be good quality. Unfortunately, in my haste to order what I assumed was a universal postal box lock, I didn't think to actually check my mailbox to see if this truly was the correct fitment. My old lock is shown in the upper left-hand corner of the photo and as you can see, there is no way this lock would've fit (and since the community owns the mailbox, modifying the opening for the lock is out of the question).This "oops" was entirely on me and I'm certain if I had the correct mailbox for this lock, it would've worked perfectly. To save anyone else a similar frustration if they happen to have a lock that looks like my old one while searching for universal replacements, that oddball thing is a "C9300" lock. Live and learn.
