If your washing machine hookups require standard garden hose threads, skip this product. You'll need adapters for both ends (if you can even find suitable ones). While the larger end may seem compatible, it uses a different thread type and won't screw on properly without modification.

I think it's important to point out that this hose specifically mounts to a 1/2" pipe thread outlet, not a standard hose bib that we see in most U.S. homes. A 1/2" connection might be a tee on a faucet, etc, but it is something people might not realize if they don't read the ad closely.It is also worth mentioning that the washing machine side is indeed a female hose bib connection, and it has "wings" to help you tighten firmly simply by hand. Make sure you have enough space at your connection for the larger fitting.Other than this, it is your average quality, someone stiff hose. I actually plan on using this to supply water to my evaporative cooler, reversing the hose so the large fitting mounts to my outside hydrant/silcock and the 1/2" to the swamp cooler.
