The plastic mounting tabs are flimsy and don't hold the entire box very well on the stud in the unfinished wall condition, but overall when the drywall is added it holds on okay. Not expected to get a lot of use it's just a box that will sit there and connect to the line for the ice maker. Adding the cover plate hides everything nicely and leaves a quality appearance... The customer will get a sense that people took the time to do even the small things like a proper access for the valve. Not just leaving a loosely connected shutoff laying on the ground.
