These things are just what I was hoping they would be. I like that these are simple to mount, they are very adjustable, and that they are easy to release. I've used several versions of toggle clamps, but these are nice and heavy duty. If properly mounted, I can't imagine the pressure these could exert to hold something in place. The rubberized handles is a nice touch as well. The only negatives for me is that they stick out a bit more than other clamp styles. So, if you're going to be walking by them or using them on a trailer where they may snag a branch, they may not be your best choice. Also, I kind wish there were mounting screws included, but I rarely use the included screws anyhow.

This is a handy type of clamp to have on hand for building woodworking jigs. I was pleasantly surprised to see how thick and robust the components are. The "sheet metal" pieces are very sturdy, along with the cross pin which holds the u-bolt. The weakest link appears to be the pivot pin, but even that appears to be plenty strong for normal use. The handles are dipped in vinyl which makes for comfortable operation. There are no screws or bolts included. You will need 6 fasteners for each clamp, either 1/4" or 6mm bolts will fit best. They have an adjustment range on the u-bolt of about 3/4" or 19mm. Overall I think these are good quality clamps that should serve me well. I did notice an error in the description though - it says they have a galvanized finish. The coating on my clamps, and the clamps depicted on the product page, have a zinc-plated finish. This is much less resistant to corrosion than a true galvanized finish so I would hesitate to use these outdoors for an extended period of time. They should be totally fine for use in the shop however.
