I was hopeful that this would last longer than it did.. I might have 30miles on it, and it just exploded 2 gears and bent a few others. of the 10 gears I can us 5 or 6 but I have to manually move the chain. I suggest paying a little more and buying name brand.

A nice price, but had to return it because it only gangs the biggest (lowest) two cogs ( typically it's the last three) . Meaning that there will be too much torque stress on the aluminum freehub. YMMV.

Well worth the money and not bad as far as weight wise so happy with it. Will come back and review again after I test it.

Grabbed this because I ran the budget out on my bike build. Figured it'd be pretty hard to screw up what's essentially just stamped metal.Worked at first, then failed suddenly. The 3rd gear bent out of no where (didn't wreck it. Literally bent mid ride just from use) so that became unusable. Would've given it two or three stars because it works otherwise.... Until I saw what it did to my fancy new freehub body. Apparently fits slightly loose, so it chewed up this brand new Spank Oozy hub in less than 50 miles. And its an HG driver, so no, its not installed incorrectly.Save your bike, your components, and your ride and avoid this hunk of junk. A proper Shimano or similar cassette can be had used for the same prices, or a brand new one for around 60 bucks. As far as I'm concerned, the manufacturer oughta be paying me back for my hub. Garbage garbage garbage.

Fantastic product. Literally zero issues. Obviously not the lighest cassette, but the strength and durability is great.I have amassed around 600 miles of aggressive riding on my 160mm travel full sus bike... The cassette is performing flawlessly.

Got this to work on my old 10speed hardtail. Running Sram X9 Type 1 (no clutch). Upgraded from a 11-36. Used a new chain, started at 55 links in new chain then dropped to 54 (108 halfs). The 36 I ran a 53. 2x up front. On the small ring it's a bit...rough...Also think my x9 may be medium cage, but not positive of that. Could be long.

I'm a nuber with bikes, I have a 2018 Trek Dual Sport+ electric hybrid bike that I wanted to change the cassette on in order to get up hills a little better. This cassette will fit directly with existing shifter, derailleur, and chain on the DS+ but you will have to adjust the derailleur in order to get the shift onto the 40 tooth cog. That cog is also bigger than the stock spoke guard so a bigger replacement for that is neede if it matter, it doesn't for myself at present.I would say that this is the largest cog size cassette (11-40) for the DS+ before having to change derailleur arm and/or chain length. The tooth count, and therefore the gear ratios, are different throughout the range than the stock HG50 11-36, so your shifting pattern and cadence will change. I don't have the tooth numbers on hand but it will feel like there are two distinct gear ranges within the cassette as the 5-6-7 cogs have the different tooth count spacing from stock and feeling the shift here gets a little tricky. On this cassette, cogs 11 through 32 have the same tooth difference as the Shimano HG500 11-42, hope this makes sense to the reader.Mostly I just want to say that this cassette can be a direct bolt-in to replace athe Shimano Deore HG50 11-36. I've found no problems in the couple rides since installing it except the 7-6-5 shifts because of feel in cadence feedback although bench testing and adjustment says all is well.
