So my mom got me into gardening. She told me to look for these bags and put mothballs in them then hand them up around the garden as an animal deterrent. I didn't believe her so I found these to try. I don't know why I would doubt her because her garden is massive every year

This order is 100 nylon mesh bags delivered in two bundles of 49 with number 50 used to tie up the bundle (See Photo). The bags are 24 inches long, heat sealed at one end to create the "bag." I have used mesh bags for years to steam mussels as the bags are impervious to boiling water and allow the mussels to be totally submerged until they open and then be easily retrieved and removed from EXTREMELY hot water. I also use these to shop for produce at our local Farmers Market. They expand to easily hold a dozen ears of corn and do not have to be opened to see the produce. Other uses for the bags (at least by me) include filling a bag with orange pieces or grapes for the birds that gather at my feeders. Tying off the open end makes a simple "sleeve feeder" easily hung outside for the birds to enjoy. I have one other idea for these bags that I will try this spring when I pot my tomato plants. Filling two of these bags with pea gravel and placing at the bottom of the pot will provide excellent drainage for the plant's roots and be easily reused after the season. In the past, I have had to scoop the gravel out of the soil to wash and reuse it. This will be better! I had some initial reservations about the sturdiness of the weave on these bags; worried that it would stretch out and spill its contents. The second photo attached here is one of the bags holding a 20-pound scuba weight from the harness I use with my dry suit. I was more worried about the mop and broom holder pulling off the wall than the bag failing. And, for the record, the "test bag" was/is perfectly usable after removing the weight. This is a terrific product that I would certainly buy again...AFTER I use the first 100 bags!Mark in North Carolina
