This is a very nice crystal ball. It is a little smaller than I expected it to be, but the ball itself is very heavy, and the stand that holds it seems to be very very sturdy.

*NOTE: Lighted base is NOT part of the purchase - used to show the beauty of product only*I am so pleased with this purchase! The silver stand is lovely, the sphere is heavy and a wonderful size. It comes packaged in bubble wrap and a satin-lined box. There were no cracks or blemishes upon arrival. A couple of additional notes for the best clarity of the item; I used Zep Foaming Glass Cleaner and a lint-free polishing cloth before displaying it. I wanted you to see the reflective abilities with the salt lamp in the background, the clarity with no reflection, and what the item looks like with no light in the base. Regardless of how you choose to display this item, I think you will love it - I know I do!

I bought this as a gift/prop for a DnD campaign as a real-life reward for finishing the campaign. I felt that it was a risky purchase as I wasn't sure if it would work for my intention. When it arrived, I was elated with everything about the figurine. It is heavy, solid, and has a glass exterior. It does smudge very easily, but I don't think that can be helped. While it is marketed as a decorative piece, I think it was the perfect reward for a DnD campaign as it seems to come straight out of a fantasy realm.
