As an army veteran you still want to be able to wear the uniform properly and with family still in these come in handy for those that don't think the lace blouse on the trousers are enough. The boot blouse hold well and easy to use for people that need it. The blouse straps Velcro are strong and stay on tight there's even rubber on the straps to add grip. Great functionality and value.

These keep insects and other things from getting into my pants. They also help with pants that are slightly too long, especially the ankle straps. The boot blousers are really durable and stretchy. They perform just like you’d think they would. The quality is excellent, and they stretch to fit anyone.

Perfect set of blousers. Comes with all the basic ones you need. They seem decently contructed although these only ever last only a few months before fraying because of daily use. I always like to have a couple extra pairs in my house for the inevitable snap when I'm putting on my uniform in the morning.

This is a great set to have around. Very useful and way more comfortable than stuffing your pants leg into a boot. They're super easy to use and when worn properly look great, mostly because you can't actually see them at all! Overall great thing to have around when you need them.

Simply perfect. Why have I not seen these before? For years we've used small bungle cords, duct tape, or large rubber bands to wrap pants legs while beekeeping. Bungie cords can get really tight and are bulky, rubber bands are hard to put on and can snap, and duct tape is a one time use inconvenience. These blousers are like teeny tiny but mighty bungy cords, they have 2 small hooks that are easy to hook together, they are tight enough to be secure but comfortable at the same time. The elastic ones are even more secure with their wide width and non-slip grips but are a little more inconvenient to put on since you have to thread the end through the slot; not hard just not as easy a 2 simple hooks. The colors are nice and neutral and I can see the benefit it trying to disguise in a uniform but I would prefer bright high viz colors for our use, that makes them easier to find in the beekeeping kit and if they should be removed in the grass area, easier to find. For $5 bucks you can't go wrong, I only wish I had found these years ago.

Whatever reason you're considering blousers, these can probably handle it. This multi-option pack comes with a clear storage case and the blousers are well made.

I am not tall. And long pants, unless elasticized at the bottom, are invariably too long. And I hate hemming pants. I first became aware of boot blousers decades ago, but somehow forgot about them. These are awesone--I can now wear long pants without having them drag in the dirt or mud, because of these things. And I don't have to hem them.
