Bought 20 to replace all the coolant hoses on my diesel.Found one that had a defective nut, no threads. The only thing holding it tight was the nylon insert, and that let go during the pressure test. Lost about 2 gallons of coolant and some time checking the other 15 clamp nuts.

clamps keep pressure controlled without damaging hoses.

If these are stainless they are not a very good quality. After 2 months on some hoses on the pool filter they are starting to rest

Clamps are decent, sadly I didn't notice that the screws and nuts are plated steel. Won't last long in a boat. Most likely a return for me.

Great buy on these clamps. I got them for air intake 1.5" ID hose. I used silicone hose which is pretty thin 48 mm OD. Tricky spot for these types of clamps. It does have a small gap for spring movement left. 2 - 2.5 mm.

These clamps are absolutely fantastic. Stainless steel construction, nylock nut, one handed tightening, and the clamps securely fasten turbo lines to fittings or couplings leak free. Stainless steel can be used in extreme environments and the nylock nuts will not vibrate loose over time. Great well constructed clamps. 5 stars

Spring loaded clamps are great compared to worm gear clamps. The spring clamps provide constant pressure around the hose without having damaging the hose. With worm gear clamps, as hose heats up and soften, the clamp loses grip of hose and hose material can squeeze out of worm gear clamps. These spring loaded clamps provides 360 degrees grip on the hose whether its 0 degrees in the engine bay during a cold start winter start or under boost on a hot summer day. I hate having to tighten down worm clamps from time to time on intercooler hose because clamps loosen up as boost hose material squeezes through the clamp as they get thermal cycled and ages, these spring clamps solves that issues. Only minor small down side is, the clamp is larger because of the spring so you need to position the screw head accordingly so it doesn't hit your hood or rub up against wiring or other hoses nearby.

I love T-bolt style hose clamps for anything under high pressure. These are great for small turbo boost plumbing or large radiator hoses. The only thing I found to be negative about these particular ones, is only that there were some very sharp and jagged edges on some of the upper spring collars. I filed the edges down, to avoid getting meat ripped from my fingers. Other than the sharp edge hazard, I see nothing wrong with these clamps! They are extremely strong and plenty wide enough to provide more clamping force, and clamping surface area than any crap worm-gear screw driven common "STRIP-O-MATIC" clamp, which we typically find ourselves using all too many of.I, personally have a healthy obsession with eliminating any and all common worm-gear clamps from all of my machinery and replacing them with any size bolt-tpye clamp possible. When T-bolt style clamps are the only ones on an engine, they give you SO MUCH MORE PEACE OF MIND! You can rest assured that they wont relinquish their grip, or break easily under stress. It helps that they are made of stainless steel, also. Zero rust equals top notch life span!
