I’ve only used them to hold down our soccer goal, so that’s all I can speak to. Our 12x6 Franklin goal came with stakes that just weren’t cutting it for powerful kicks from adults, so I got these and they work perfectly! The goal doesn’t budge even with a shots straight at the post. Very glad to have them and may order more for the larger seasonal yard decorations now I know how much better they work than traditional anchor stakes.

Needed a "sturdy" U Shape Stake to hold down Christmas decorations. These are perfect as they don't bend when hammering them into the clay ground that is hard as concrete. The pointed ends make it so much easier to pierce the hard ground.

This winter I'm parked on sandy soil. The wind gets strong here and I was unsure what type of steaks to buy to hold down my desert carpet. These are terrific! Putting these steaks down has been very efficient. It's the same as putting two steaks very close to each other. We've had strong winds and they have kept the carpet from lifting and flying in the wind. My neighbor called them double trouble because they were hard to pound into the adobe earth which is under the sand. I highly recommend that you try these it's easier than using a nail with a washer. The stakes haven't torn through the fabric. Much less expensive than the price of heavy tent stakes and washers.

Bought these to act as anchors for a tall arbor fixture in backyard that was blown over in a hurricane. The width of this U shape was perfect to wrap over the arbor base rail and then long enough to go in the dirt to anchor. I was able to hammer them down with a rubber mallet deep into the soil to make sure the arbor stays in place the next storm.
