We have a loveable albeit infuriating mutt who loves to escape our fenced-in yard. We’ve tried everything to keep her in, and nothing stuck until these arrived. You can take these and hook the curved hook-shaped portion for the tent strap around the lower-most fence wire and bring your metal fence all the way to the ground. They can get a little loose when it’s rained a lot, but overall, they have helped us secure our yard (and our digging dog).

They are great spikes for tents and tarps. I use them to anchor Halloween and Christmas decorations as we are in a heavy winds area. Thin metal ones just do not hold especially when found freezes. These hold very well in soft or frozen ground.

They are what they are. We used them to “tie down” a green house that has a type of plastic cover over a metal frame. Quite windy yesterday and night. She’s still standingUpdate,...used the remaining four of these stakes to hold down a pop up shelter, which, it did well in rather windy weather. However,.....when pulling them back out, they went in easily, they were all cracked and broken. Now being useless for a second use. So,.....one time use pegs? We will pull up the original pegs on that green house in the spring. I think they are simple plastic. Im sure nylon would have been better. I got what I paid for I suppose.

After suffering a collapsed tent due to wind and soft ground I needed to get some better pegs. The steel pegs I was using were larger/stronger than those supplied by the tent manufacturer, but easily came out of soft ground. I did some internet searching (googling) and found the Mudor Sand Peg to be highly recommended. They have not been used yet but appear to be strong enough and available on Amazon for a great price.

I bought these to put at the bottom of a chicken wire fence. Shorted stakes would not hold. The girls are smart and will squeeze under at places that are loose. I drove these into semi frozen ground with a hammer. They work great!!

I bought these for use in sand because I couldn't find the type or sand stake that I wanted. These really did a great job. The extra length gives you a lot of extra stability in loose sand. They are also better made (heavier) than the ones that came with my Coleman tent. Their great!
