Tried to use this in a brand new Dewalt router that shipped without the 1/2 collet (as apparently they are purposely omitting this collet from the box).As the other reviewers said, the brand new bit wobbled and you could even see that the spacing between the grips on the collet were not evenly spaced.Total waste of time. Do yourself a favor and pay more for a quality product. This one is going to hurt someone, if it hasn't already.

Positive holding split collects. Tighten carefully and inspect cuts and tool during first usage.

These collets are out of the norm for Yutacorex. Most of the things they sell are related to chainsaws. I donโt see the synergy. From the website material, these collets appear to be resales from bulk Chinese producers. Usually, this is not a good sign since sellers tend to be disconnected from both users and production. On the other hand, these appear to be nice quality. The nut has the usual black oxide coating and I believe it is made of stainless steel, though it is magnetic. The collet itself appears to also be stainless. Even if not stainless, they are nicely manufactured. These are surprisingly good signs. The nuts are short, only 5/8 compared to the my usual 3/4 inch. The collets fit my Bosch 1617 nicely. They hold bits securely with little vibration even on big bits spun too fast, despite the shorter nuts. They release easily when untightened. $19 for 2 is competitively priced for this level of quality. These will be my backup collets.
