If you use a calibrated crimper I have to use a Size down for them to have a hope of them working. Also the metal is a spilt tube so 70 percent of the time it bends in a funny way and doesn't grip wire. Unreliable and cheap.

Cheap blue butt connectors add heat shrink and you’ve got a good repair.
