The item looks like its good quality but it does not work on metal or wood. It barely made a mark on wood, no mark at all on metal (tried silver and silver). Maybe this is just for leather as shown on the images.

I used it on leather and got surprised by the quality of the impression. It might be zinc alloy but when you know how to properly case the leather and use your tools it might last for very long. I have some zinc alloy stamps that i use on a regular basis for 10 years now and still perfect.

The title says can be used on leather, metal and wood. I purchased to use on metal - soft to medium. I tried a few of the stamps and there was not a mark on the metal. I decided to use it on some leather. The imprint was not impressive at all.I could barely see the design at all. I tried several times using different techniques, but I still was not able to see the design very much on the leather. I do not recomment this product

I do like the fact you get a mirror pair of the non symmetric patterns so you can do both sides of a piece with matching designs. Only issue I found is once you have the selected stamp on the shaft and are punching it is easy to rotate the stamp 90 degrees without realizing it if you are not careful. Just put a dab of paint or a mark with a Sharpie on the reference edge of each stamp and that way you always know you have it aligned correctly before you strike. Great little set for the price, quality seems fine for casual use, and they make nice crisp patterns in the leather.
