多少なりとも暖房の補助になるかな？と思って購入しましたが、ヘヤードライヤーの方がいいくらいです。但し、12Vなので、使用使途次第では、悪くないかも知れません。

Produces very little heat. Hardly moves any air. Only been using it 2 weeks and 1 of the fan bearings is already noisy.

Unit does not produce enough heat to warm hands directly in front of heat vent. Does not work as a 500w maybe 100wNot worth the money

Fantastic unit, solid construction. Works great with a DC motor speed controller to control strength. Heats up a significant volume of air. 2 of these would be sufficient to keep a car interior warm in 0 degree weather. I'd say maybe 3 for a van. Torture tested at 14.7 volts for 20 hours. Main wires barely got warm. Very dependable. No smell after initial burn-in, though burn in was a bit rough, gently smelled a bit like burned rubber. Went away after about 15 hours of operation. Highly recommended item, especially compared to those terrible black and red "defroster" fire hazards. Mine pulls just under 14 amps.

This heater pulled 20 amps when turned on in 20°F (-7°C) weather and receiving 13.4V at the tip of the wires. As it warmed up, and with consistent voltage, the current draw began dropping and I ended the test when it got to 18.5 amps.This is just a little bit too much current to plug into the cigarette lighter, but less than half the advertised specifications.Overall it's a very poor product which I would not recommend. I can still use it, but it doesn't really do what I want, so I am considering returning it and looking for an alternative product.PS: To everyone else writing reviews, don't just say it's a bad product, tell everyone why it's a bad product.

I like this product I have two but this last that was shipped the blows slow and it doesn't get hot.

Had a problem with my car heater so bought this one.The heat is not so bad,but not so good to keep people warm.Defogging effect is good,worth the price.It may be not as bad as other review said,but the installation is not very convenient.Lol
