Item works as advertised. Arrived in a timely fashion free of defects. I needed a 2nd splash guard for another skillet. Grabbed this one and instantly compared it to the one I already own, pictured on the right. This guard does not allow much space between your counter and the mesh once rested. You can see the difference in the pictures provided. It does allow proper ventilation and kept the grease from splattering all over the stove. Feels well made and has a comfort grip. I used it on a 12in cast iron skillet. It's the perfect size and should last for years. If anything changes I'll be sure to edit my review.

Bought this on a whim. My old one was torn, so I bought this thing. Its built with heavy duty materials and has some “heft” to it ! I like the fact that it has the little feet on it so it doesn’t get my countertops all greasy by putting the screen down. Great product and even bought one for my parents, who cook a lot !!

This grease splatter screen works very well! Not sure now why I went so long without one! I have a flat top stove and what a mess every time something is fried, the whole stove top gets splattered. This is fantastic, cuts down on the mess and clean up is a breeze, I put it on the top shelf of the dishwasher and it came out looking brand new.

We purchased this to help keep our gas grill cleaner. I would suggest that you fit the diameter of the splatter screen to the cookware when using it on a gas stove. The one I purchased was 13" but I was matching it to an 11" frying pan. The splatter screen did keep it much cleaner, but the screen was slightly scorched/darkened in a regions of where the screen extended past the edge of the cookware. Also be sure to put the ridge support rods on the top so that there is no gap as described in the literature/picture.

My husband and I love to use the cast iron skillet to cook everything. We were always looking for something to use over the skillet so the oil did not get everywhere (we love to cook with A LOT OF OIL)! We came across this splatter guard and we will never use anything else!! This is the easiest thing to use while cooking. It is also dishwasher friendly (I was hesitant at first to put in the dishwasher, but it worked out totally fine!) No more oil on our stove. This is a wonderful product, I highly recommend!
