This is almost like a wok/griddle hybrid. It gets hot and cooks well but the sloping sides make it a little difficult for some foods. Nothing stayed in place like it did on the photo. It was luckily pretty easy to clean as its fairly non stick. Good sized for 1 or 2 people.

As active RV campers who appreciate a good meal after a day of exploring, the 13x13 Inch Octagonal Electric Griddle has been a game changer for us! Its compact, space-saving design fits perfectly in our limited RV kitchen space, and the 1000W rapid heating ensures we’re not waiting forever to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by how evenly it cooks—no hot spots or half-cooked pancakes here! The ILAG Granite Nonstick Coating is genuinely impressive. Even sticky foods like bacon and scrambled eggs slid right off without a fuss, making cleanup a breeze (a major bonus when you’re in an RV with limited sink space). The five temperature settings give us the flexibility to cook everything from a slow-simmered breakfast to a quick stir-fry for dinner.Despite its compact size, it comfortably serves 2-3 people, which is perfect for our small RV crew. We’ve used it for everything from breakfast burritos to grilled sandwiches, and it’s never let us down. If you’re an active RV camper who loves cooking up real meals on the road, this griddle is a must-have!

I am writing about the small griddle which does not have a drain hole in the middle. It may be easy to clean, no stick and all that. For me the problem is the bowl shape. Anything liquid, like batter or eggs run to the center. That may be great if you want your eggs scrambled but forget over easy. Pancakes aren't going to be round. Then what do you do with the grease if you fry bacon? You have a grease bowl in the center of the griddle. If it were a bit deeper, it might work for stir-fry.I'll keep using my flat griddle with the drip ring around the edge.

I must admit I’ve never run across a shallow octagonal hot plate like this one. It is very useful as long as you don’t need depth to keep oil contained, etc. - so no deep or shallow frying. The surface is on par with other non-teflon, “ceramic” coatings. Build quality is solid, but keep in mind there is some assembly required. Clean-up was easy due to the non-stick surface. Overall, a versatile and portable kitchen tool.

I really like this griddle. It is truly non-stick and feels like it will stay that way for awhile. Sides are slightly sloped inward to keep food from falling off. Very easy to clean. Heats up well but doesn't seem to get as hot as a pan on the stove. Well made and guilt to last. Has Bakelite handles that make positioning it easy without burning your hands.

This 13-inch granite griddle cookstove is a fantastic addition to any kitchen. The granite surface heats evenly, ensuring perfectly cooked food every time, while its non-stick properties make cooking and cleanup a breeze. The 13-inch size is just right, big enough for multiple servings but compact enough for easy storage. The sturdy wood handles provide a comfortable grip and stay cool during cooking, adding both style and practicality. Whether you’re making pancakes, grilled sandwiches, or searing meats, this griddle delivers excellent results!!SPECIAL NOTE: As an approved Amazon Vine member with Gold status, I am trusted to select items for review (sometimes from a list of almost 130,000 options). Just tried to make a grilled cheese. Set on 1, put a slice of cooked ham in the center to brown up a bit. That worked OK, then a pat of butter to melt and rye bread while the ham was set up on an edge. Set that piece to the side edge and another pat of butter. The light in the control unit shut off and took forever to get it to melt. The light came back on for a few seconds then back off again. I tried turning it up to 2 and the light came back on. I was able to get the bread to start browning. In the mean time, my brother grabbed the infrared thermometer to see what was happening.Temperatures were all over the place. One side read 410, another side read 360 and the center read 315 then started dropping. I don’t know if the pan is defective, the control unit is defective or it’s an overall problem but I will not be wasting expensive food trying to guess what’s going on.
