So this pump is incredible it out. Does any standard filter pump all day long filter pumps suck because you constantly have to buy filters and change them out all the time they don’t last long. I felt like I was changing out filters almost every day or every other day with the sand, you don’t have to do that Time between change out is much more prolonged. It’s a strong pump as well, so its suction inside pulls water incredibly strong while also dispersing it out of its supply side. You can actually tell the water is being circulated with this pump in comparison to other pumps which are barely noticeable and don’t filter the entire pool. It also runs incredibly quiet for the size of it slight hum, but you would never notice it as you’re out in the water enjoying your day with your family. Easily ran off 110 V outlet so access to power shouldn’t be a problem easy to set up good instructions incredibly durable and built well especially for the price.

This pump outperforms standard filter pumps by a long shot. Traditional filter pumps require constant filter replacements, sometimes as often as every day or two, which can be a hassle. With a sand filter, the time between maintenance is much longer, making it far more convenient. The pump itself is powerful, providing strong suction to pull in water while efficiently circulating and filtering it throughout the pool. Unlike some pumps that barely move the water, this one makes a noticeable difference.Despite its power, it runs surprisingly quiet—just a slight hum that fades into the background while you enjoy the pool. It operates on a standard 110V outlet, making it easy to power, and the setup process is simple with clear instructions. This large, sand filter for above ground pools is great! It's not any louder than my regular filter that came with my 18' above ground pool, and it sits right outside my bedroom window, and it doesn't bother us at all. It functions even better than I anticipated it would. I plugged it in and turned it on with my pool looking really rough from sitting this winter. There were leaves, bugs, and all sorts of nasty stuff in my pool when I turned this filter on for the first time. Normally, I would have to use my net and skim my pool at the very least, but not with this filter. It is definitely a big filter, but it fits perfectly in the corner where I had my previous filter, and it doesn't leak or anything that I have noticed so far. It was so easy to install that our 18yo son did it in less than 30 minutes. At the time of writing my review, it's listed for $239.99 and on sale for $219.99. I feel that is a great value at that sale price for sure! If you're looking for a sign to switch over to a sand filter for your above ground pool, this is most definitely it! I know that I will never switch back. I will say, I have only run this filter for about two weeks so far, but if it has any issues this summer then I will update this review.

This is the first sand filter pump that I’ve ordered and it is too early to set up my above ground pool. The original pump that came with my pool was underpowered and did a poor job at filtering the water effectively. I am hoping that this sand filter (sand not included) will be able to filter the water more efficiently and that being able to flush the sand will make it easier to clean the solids from the water. The four way valve should make it easy to clean once it is set up in a few months. I will update this review once I have it set up and running for a while.

This is a great solution for my advice ground 15x48 pool. I used the stock filter that came with the pool last year, and it did not perform well. My neighbor has this brand and loves it, so I was really excited to get this one. It's a solid, easy to use sand filter. I did have to take off a star because one piece arrived damaged, but not so bad that it's unusable.

Very quiet pump.It's very well built and was easy to install with some light adjustments on my end.Love the look of it and how it does not make many noises when on.So far, we have no leakage, and it leaves the pool very clean.

This review is for the 14" Sand Filter System with 4-Way Valve for Outdoor Swimming Pools Above Ground Pool Includes Prefilter and 0.5HP Pool Pump with 6-Foot Cord for Easy to Install.This is a great set up for a pool, fish pond, big aquariums/fish tanks... and you don't have to use sand in this! For even better results you can use the polyester filter balls! Yoooooour back will thank you too LOL. 3.01 Lbs of polyester filter balls replaces 100Lbs of sand! They're more cost effective too as you can wash them and reuse them repeatedly.These filters being plastic are much lighter weight than a metal counterpart, yes the pump is heavy, but much easier to handle with the overall lighter weight. I grabbed this as a backup so if anything happens to the others there's no down time, that can be fatal for fish, in a swimming pool you can play catch up. I prefer to stay on top of things. So this is a great filter/pump system for up to 9,500 gallons size, and they system is easy to set up and use. Regular price $ 239.99 per the listing for the 14 inch size filter with the 1/2HP pump.

With the CIPU 14" Filter Pump you get a great filter for your money! Our above ground pool holds about 1600 - 1700 gallons, but this 14" inch filter can cycle up to 8500 gallons per hour! Right out of the box it comes with everything you need for a seamless installation (except for sand, of course) - clamps, seal rings, adapters, and valves. The manufacturer's warranty lasts for a year, which is helpful. Only one slight drawback is that the power cord is only about 6 feet long. So, if your pool is out in the yard further than 6 feet from your power supply, you’ll probably need to get an extension cord before using. Great pump.
