If you are use to the name brand crystal chenilles then you will be disappointed in this product. It has about half as many crystal fibers as the name brand chenilles. Of course, you will pay as much for one roll of name brand chenille as you do for these 15 rolls but the difference in quality is clear.

As a beginner, I need a lot of materials and want to hold my cost down while I learn. This item was a good choice. The tinsel is thin and sparse. Not as high quality as you might expect, but tied on it looks just fine. There is not a lot on a spool but enough for me to get through my goal of 12 flies each style. Colors are bright and consistent through the spool. There is a lot of sparkle for attractors. Until I know what I will be using the most in my local waters, I think this was a great way to start. Seller shipped fast. I would purchase from them again.
