Ordered this after measuring our original one and this is too big by 1/8". had to use electrical tape on the other part to make this fit tight. Be aware this is a bit big for our pool pump.

The hose is better quality than the one that came with the skimmer. I have replaced the hose twice. It gets brittle and breaks. The new hose will do better hopefully.

Thought I could save a few bucks - wow what a mistake.Made from cheep, thin plastic. Installed it and turned the pump on. Leeks began immediately.Threw it away and went to my local pool supply store and bought a decent hose.
