I bought this item to illuminate a parking area, but the second day was constantly blinking until the third day that it went totally out. I requested a replacement.

This light is very bright as you can see in the photos. I had to angle it down to keep it from shinning on the neighbors house and to not blind drivers on the road in the front of the house. If you're in need of a bright light this is for you! Instructions are limited, actually very poor but if you're handy its very easy to figure out. I mounted this on my garage but has a bracket for mounting on a pole. I used the dusk to dawn cap but comes with a cap to allow continuous lighting but if you choose that option you may want to install a light switch to shut off during the day.

Super bright, sturdy, nothing cheap about this super LED light. Bet I could light up a tennis court. Only hard part was mounting high up on the garage and the fact my garage is sheet metal, so adapting and fabricating support. Very happy with this bright light (15000K lumen). Of course you need to wire this in, not too hard with some homework & video.

Installed two of these on a light pole at my business. For reference, the pole is 20’ tall (fixtures are the 150w version). The lights seem to be well made.....time will tell how they hold up. Our situation is a little unique in that our business is situated next to homes to one side and across the street.....given the type 3 beam pattern I will be installing some custom made glare shields to block the residual light from going across the street and casting light to the neighbors. I had figured I would need to do this before I made the purchase....so with that in mind I chose this light because it has a flange on the sides that lend itself to drilling and bolting on a shield. If you have a situation like mine where the position of the pole really requires a different beam pattern (type 4 forward throw or even a type 5), then you should consider this light (with a shield) simply because I wasn’t able to find a fixture with a different beam pattern that comes anywhere near this price ($140). The only other real (superior) solution is to get a fixture from Lithonia with the proper beam pattern and glare shields factory installed....but these will cost you $1500 or more per fixture. So, for me at least, it was worth it to make a pattern and have a local sheet metal shop fab up the shields (aluminum, $50 for two) and have a local Powdercoating company coat them ($75 for the pair). Also, reputable/big name brands like Lithonia make and sell glare shields for there fixtures.......but, again, a dramatic difference in cost. Go into it knowing that it DOES NOT come with mounting bolts (requires 10mm) and the bolt pattern will likely not match the mounting bolt pattern of halide lights if replacing something older.
