These are fine rod arms for beginner puppeteers. You "hook" the end around the puppet's wrist and then manipulate the ends of the rods with your puppet-free hand. The rubbery end caps protect the user and the puppet from the metal ends. Since the end caps are black and the rods are silver, the rods are very noticeable. If you're casually using puppets, these will work fine. If you're getting them for professional purposes, I would pass on them.

My daughter wanted a dummy, but they are VERY expensive. She has tons of stuffed animals and these can work on any of them. These are a hit with the kid and not the budget!
