We occasionally get varmints in the chicken coop. This wire fencing is a good addition to help keep rats and raccoons from getting into coop at night and stealing the eggs.

This product, a robust galvanized steel hardware cloth, has proven to be the ideal solution for safeguarding my animals. It effectively prevents them from digging their way out of their enclosure. We own a large breed dog with a penchant for digging, who had become quite adept at escaping. This posed significant challenges in ensuring the dog's safety, particularly from the dangers of nearby roads. The hardware cloth has provided us with a reliable solution. We were able to excavate a section of the ground, partially bury the cloth, and reinforce it with heavy cinder blocks. This strategy has successfully thwarted our dog's escape attempts. In conclusion, this hardware cloth is not just a product, but a means to ensure the safety and security of our pets. Its heavy-duty nature and versatility make it an invaluable addition to any pet owner's toolkit. I highly recommend it to those facing similar challenges with their pets.

Arrived in a cardboard box, and seems to be sturdy as advertised. Hardware cloth like this is useful in so many ways. It can be used as a screen to keep critters in or out, to make a sieve for coarse materials, or making fences and cages.I like the height of this hardware cloth. It’s tall enough that I’ll be using it around the trunks of some of our trees to protect them from deer. I’ve used chicken wire in the past, but it buckles under the force of bucks’ antlers, still protecting the trunk, but leaving it looking a bit sloppy. Since this product is sturdier and has smaller holes than chicken wire, I expect it to hold up better.

Full disclosure: I did not use this for typical chicken wire fencing. I did, however, make a sifting tray so that I could sort out clumps of dirt and rocks from my garden soil I was recycling from a previous year. Additionally, this makes a GREAT "bulb catcher." Instead of going through all of my soil inch by inch by hand, I can dump a container of dirt onto the sifting tray made with this mesh, and the soil sifts through to the bin where I collect it, while the flower bulbs stay in the tray, making them super easy to separate in much less time.8/10 would recommend.

I used it to screen out my compost, but the welds didn't hold well.

This hardware cloth is welded securely at every joint and shows no signs of coming apart. I was expecting it to be a little bit bent up from shipping, but these rolls are packaged well and arrived in very good shape!

Earlier this summer, we spotted a baby rattlesnake in our back yard. With a toddler at home who loves to play in the backyard, we were never 100% sure of the baby rattlesnake had left our backyard. So we waited till winter to put some fence around the possible entry point. (Our logic being that if it is still in our back yard, it would have frozen to death in Colorado winter weather)We found this 1/4 in hardware mesh that was perfect for the job. According to all the experts, baby rattlesnakes can't get through 1/4in hardware cloth and it is apparently the go-to mesh for snake proofing. This mesh was extremely easy to work with. Feels strong enough to last forever. When spread open, it was 4ft x 5ft in dimension. I cut it to smaller size easily with a pair of metal snips and installed it with some fencing lumber and screws. Extremely happy with this hardware cloth.
