My fiancé has an antique shelf that belonged to his father. It was destroyed and he wanted to restore it. I found these nails and Amazon, and they were exactly what he wanted for the restoration.

I was shocked to find the package contained only a dozen nails?

Do not get these if you intend to use them in plaster walls, they bend every single time.

I bought these to make the famous "Shaker Six-Board Chest" to serve as a toybox for my baby niece. I was surprised how sturdy it came out with just these nails as the fasteners - it's a battletank. The nail heads also give it a rustic, antique styling that is quite welcome on many of my wood projects.Unlike modern wire nails, you do have to drill pilot holes for these. You should definitely take some offcuts from the wood you'll be using for the project and figure out what diameter bit to use. You just want to make sure it's neither too loose nor splitting your wood.
