These are perfect little trash cans to keep in the house. The lids are sturdy and work well. The two sizes are great. My downstairs bathroom gets used far more than my kids' bathroom. So we put the larger one in there and the smaller one in the kids bathroom.I love that the lid is super easy to use. Click open, click closed. No trouble, smooth mechanism. I don't like the motion sensing ones that just open randomly or require changing batteries. If manually opening and closing the lid bothers you, you can just leave it open! Also - there's a little bag cinch that helps keep your bag firmly in place.

These trash cans are made of plastic and have thosepush/pop-up lids. They are small trash cans in 2 sizes. One is a decent sizefor my bathroom and the other for the bedroom but youwouldn't be able to fit much in it.Each comes with an extra lid latch which is taped to theinside of the lid.The latch on the largest worked fine when pushed downand popping up. The smallest wouldn't pop up at all, but Iwill try replacing the latch to see if that will fix it.Other than that they'll serve their purpose.

This is exactly what I needed. I have a small home office and craft room and have been struggling to find a garbage can that works for that space. I have 2 small animals so I couldn’t have anything that did not have lids as they can get into the trash and sometimes crafting trash is not pet friendly. This is a 2 set and its 1 size 3.6 gal and the other 2.4 gal. I love having the option for a bigger size next to my craft table and the smaller size under my desk. The cans have a ring on the inside to hide the bags which makes it look so clean. I love the push tops cause in my opinion they hold up better than the foot hinge ones. I’m really happy with these and I think I may get some more for other rooms in my house.

Just what I needed! I feel like the price it perfect for one can and you get two, so it's extra great. So far this is working really well for me as an office waste bin and as a bin for our little bathroom. The design is sleek and works well. I did peel off the little rainbow sticker as I like the simple look more. The fact that you get two for this price and that it comes with a back-up clasp just incase. Great product for the price!

Whether you like these will come down to taste. However, if you want some smaller garbage cabs with lids then these actually have a pretty classy yet modern design.I find that you have to press them down pretty hard and aggressively if you want them to always open up 100% of the time. If you give them a more gentle press, they will get stuck and not open up around 30% of the time. I think this has to do with how the lid is aligned in the opening. If it gets slightly off center to one side then it can get stick and not fully open up with the spring loaded mechanism. I do wish the opening mechanism was a bit better to give this a full 5 star review. Overall these are pretty good though.

I needed a lidded trash can for my laundry/bathroom to trap the lint/dust from the traps and I needed a small trash can by my desk for shreddable documents, but I didn't need a Simply Human type can and didn't want to pay those prices. These cans worked out well for me. The bigger one works great for my laundry/bathroom, and the smaller one works great for my office. Beware of the size though. These fit my needs because I'm not planning on stuffing them to the max with heavy trash.

This set of small trash cans are just right for places like a bathroom, under a kitchen sink or desk, or any place where a small unobtrusive can would be appropriate. They have clean, simple lines, and a clever design that makes them easy to use. One is slightly smaller than the other, and they come nested together. The lid on each is operated by a push-to-open/close hidden latch that requires just a little finger pressure to operate. The lid fits snugly, but is easy to lift off when the can needs to be emptied. If you use a trash bag, there's an internal ring that holds it in place so none of it shows when the lid is closed, and makes the bag easy to remove. A regular disposable plastic grocery bag will fit nicely, if you'd rather use those than buy regular small garbage bags. Each can comes with a spare plastic latch mechanism, in case the original breaks. I taped those to the inside wall of the cans, so they wouldn't be lost. Though it's nice to have spares, this causes me to worry that the maker considers it a high possibility that the light plastic part will break at some point, so I'm trying to be gentle with it. If you go through both sets of latches, you'll be left with a can with a non-functional lid, and just have to leave it always open if you want to continue to use it.

I picked these up for their sleek design and pop-up functionality, and overall, they look pretty good. I’m not a fan of brand names being front and center on random household products, but at least the "Joybos" logo isn’t too obtrusive. That said, one unexpected (and frankly baffling) design choice is the rainbow swirl button used to open the lid. On a minimalist white and gray trash can, it feels completely out of place. It’s barely visible in the product photos, so I didn’t notice it until after purchasing. Fortunately, I was able to pry it off cleanly, leaving a simple white divot where you press to open the lid—not ideal, but better than before.Functionality-wise, the larger trash can works fine, but the smaller one’s lid gets stuck about 25% of the time, which is frustrating. While they do include replacement latches, swapping them out didn’t fix the issue.Overall, these aren’t amazing, but for the price, they’re a reasonable option if you want a budget-friendly, space-saving trash can. Just be prepared for some quirks.
