Very Sturdy post. Easy to adjust. Works well for its purpose.I have used a different brand in the past. Both of them work wellThis one is more robust. The top and bottom plates are stronger than the other brand.You must know the measurements before purchasing. You can not cut this one down in size.

Item was just what we needed. We are using these to help build up and stabilize the foundation of our home. It is older and needs the extra support. Super strong and durable.

Ordered eight. Sent them all back. The basic design is good. The materials and weld execution are OK. The problem is, they are almost toys. Adequate for a kids play fort or a deck. But not for a floor jack on a residential property. The two main US hardware retailers have UL certified 18,000lb floor jacks for $20-$40 apiece depending on length. Do not use for anything serious. Use at your own risk. (opinion of a mechanical engineer).
