About this item

  • 2 connections for 5V 'hobby' servos connected to the Arduino's high-resolution dedicated timer - no jitter! Up to 4 bi-directional DC motors with individual 8-bit speed selection (so, about 0.5% resolution) . Up to 2 stepper motors (unipolar or bipolar) with single coil, double coil, interleaved or micro-stepping. 4 H-Bridges: L293D chipset provides 0.6A per bridge (1.2A peak) with thermal shutdown protection, 4.5V to12V. Pull down resistors keep motors disabled during power-up .
  • 【Product details】 Scope of application: Arduino beginners, Arduino experimental equipment platform, Arduino interactive electronics, A Arduino robot and so on. Features: Multi-functional, easy to operate, a powerful driver library support and functionality updates. Disadvantages: 1/0 occupies more in the case of simultaneous drive four-way motor (relative to Arduino 1/0 fewer version), small power.
  • Can drive 4-way DC motor or 2-way stepper motor at the same time can also drive 2-way servo, support ZUI new Arduino , Arduino Mega 2560 Match with. Drive four DC motors and two servos. Drive two DC motors and one stepper motor and two servos. Drive two stepper motors and two servos.
  • Motor Driver Expansion Board L293D Two 5V servo motor (servo) ports connected to Arduino's high-resolution. Up to 4 bi-directional DC motors and 4-way PWM speed control. Up to 2 stepper motors with forward/reverse control, single/double stepping, staggered or micro-stepping and rotation angle control. 4 H-Bridges: The L293D chip provides .0. 6A (1. 2A peak) per bridge with thermal cutoff protection, 4. 5V to 36V protection, and a high power supply. protection, 4.5V to 36V.
  • Pull-down resistor ensures that the motor stays stopped on power-up. Large terminal blocks make wiring easier (10 - 22AWG) and power supply. Arduino reset button included. Two large terminals for external power supply ensure separation of logic and motor drive power. Compatible with Mega, Diecimila, & Duemi ! anove. These are well mad worked well. The inputs and outputs I had to look up because there was no documentation with the boards. That really irked me because there were a lot of pins that weren't labeled and options on the board that were not populated with pins but looked as if they may add additional functions. Overall not a bad board but I'm really annoyed that there isn't any documentation that comes with the boards. Nothing on the internet ever captures all the features.

These are easy to wire stepper motor controllers that use the Arduino timer. You can control up to 4 bidirectional motors or two stepper motors. Compatible with coil, interleaved, and micro-stepping all supported. The terminal blocks are easy to access and have easy to read silkscreens. The running amperage is .6 with a peak of 1.2a (4.5 to 12v). Really a lot of fun to use with the Arduino, and easy to setup as well. Highly Recommended!
