From the photos I imagined these being more like your standard boiled egg slicers, but I would say it's at least double the size of the cutter I was replacing. That's not a fault of the the product, after looking at the photos again they are accurate.Even though I got this mostly for eggs I have used it for Spam now and it's really quite useful for getting nice even slices. It's certainly not the best egg slicer I have used because of the size and no egg shaped indent to hold the egg still, but it certainly still does the job just fine.I am not sure why it needs to be a two pack. I guess having one for Spam and one for eggs or fruit is nice.
