Ignore the bad reviews. If you don't have screws, buy some 8/32 screws in the 1.5" + range. It's not a bad idea to have some of those around.

works nicely, i have used this extender for several years. the big challenge is the lack of screw for the middle of the unit to fasten it to the outlet. this can result in working its way loose...

Simple to use and allows you to use plugs behind furniture without worrying about kinking wires.

It is slightly recessed so it sits solid on the wall. I like that it has two sets of metal prongs for added stability. I prefer the metal prongs over the plastic prongs that some others have. Could possibly deduct a star for not having the center screw but I didn't. I had some that I bought at Lowe's. They are very long and come in a pack of five, you can snap off sections until you have the right size.

Works great, seems to be decent quality construction. I love the side plugs which hide many of my cords from view. Only knock is that they don't come with a screw to secure to the outlet but they are very inexpensive so I guess I cant complain. If you have newer outlets it probably doesn't matter much but I prefer a secure fit. A 1-3/4" 6-32 screw is perfect. Would be 5 star it it came with them.

i have been looking for these outlet expanders and found this brand. It is well made, and the assembly cradles the prongs to keep them aligned. It is polarized and grounded. The internal connections are Buss bars, not wires. The top prong set feeds one side of the expander, the lower the other. Reasonable spacing but limited (for wall warts). Right angle 3 prong plugs will extend down and so only one outlet (bottoms will be useable for 3 prong right angle plugs. The use of the top or middle with angled plugs runs the wire over the middle and lower bottoms. Don't use right angle plugs! You can fit 3 straight plugs on each side no problem. Use with an electric heater??? I would be very careful and limit myself to a 500 watt or so heater. Check the adapter and plug in cord for "getting HOT."The adapter has no Front & Center screw provided to secure it in place.I prefer this design with full prong contacts to its outlet receptacles than adaptors that use plastic pins to locate the adaptor. I rae this device very highly.

Adding four extra outlets is a big help. Facing the plugs so they are parallel to the wall is great! Highly recommended.
