So I tested these on two different devices to confirm they matched. Initially I only tested the antenna itself by connecting it directly to the test device without using the included extension cable and I got mediocre results from that (a VSWR of 1.707 - 1.836) which isn't terrible, but I wouldn't use it if that was it (I included those pictures, so pay attention to the antenna and if it is mounted directly to the tester or if you see it connected via a wire). Understanding antenna and that placement and cabling can make a huge difference, I also tested it with the extension cable and boy did it make a difference. VSWR dropped to 1.128 to 1.173 which is great. Resistance went from 29.76 to 51.79 (50 Ohms is what you are looking for) which is also great.Test Device 1: N1201SA antenna connected with cable achieved a VSWR of 1.128Test Device 2: LiteVNA antenna connected with cable achieved a VSWR of 1.167So two different test devices both gave almost identical results. Bottom line here is if you use this with the provided cable and properly mount your antenna you will be more than happy with the performance. If you don't use the cable (or worse, incorrectly mount your antenna) your results will be less (how much less will depend on how much you cripple it). I'm assuming you will use these antenna the way they are meant to be used and therefore I don't have any problem recommending these (especially considering the low price to boot for a pair).

I bought a Heltec LoRa rig. Didn't have much range, so I bought these. Their range is better. Much better.

As others have stated I checked my SWR and its tuned for more around the 870 mhz range. I tried snipping off little by little until it was more in the 915 mhz range, but I can't get it below an SWR of 2.EDIT I was informed by the seller that the SWR issue would be resolved if I paired the antenna with the provided ipex cable, however I only needed the antenna portion and the ad did not specify I need to use the cable eith the antenna to achieve the results listed in the ad. Being that yhe SWR might improve with the supplied cable I have changed my rating from 1 star to 3, but if you're using just the antenna you're tuning might be off.

Easy to install and work well with my Meshtastic project. Thank you!

I measured the pair I got as tuned around 870mhz, I carefully tuned the first one to be centered at 915mhz where it was showing around 1.1 SWR, on the second one I snipped off one coil with snips and now they're both good. It's easy to pull the cover off, but given other reviewers got different results YMMV. They will probably work 'ok' out of the box, and I bet that most of these things on amazon or out of china are similar. BTW, if you're looking for an excuse to buy a Nano VNA this might be it ;)

Tested all 4 900mhz antenna's with a nano VNA - they all were "tuned" for 800-830mhz. These are almost worse than nothing at 900mhz.
