The pic looked just like the ones in the ad so I didn't put in here. The mold is a nice soft silicone, like most silicone cooking products and also very flexible soft so use a pan when cooking. I just got some 10x12 stainless pans that work perfect. The doughnuts are as good as your dough. If you make light airy dough, then so are the doughnuts. Our first batch didn't rise much and were only about 1/2 inch in thickness and a little dense, but tasted ok. We found that a little 'bakers joy spray' or flour sprinkled in the mold makes it easier to get them out, but it isn't hard at all if you don't. Like all the other silicone items we have, they are flexible, easy to maintain, and durable. We wash them in the dishwasher (top rack flat) every now and then just to keep extra clean.Nice way to make a quick dozen doughnuts....My teen daughter is the chef - she wants to be a baker. Only problem is she make sweets, but doesn't eat them very often so my wife and I are the testers. We are trying to lose weight, but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to go away as we test her products.....

Made some chocolate cake donuts with these tonight and they are ok. First impression is they are very thin and flimsy. You have to place these on a sheet pan to move and bake as they are just too flimsy to support themselves otherwise. Additionally, they are kind of a pain to clean. Due to them being so flimsy it can take some time to remove all the left overs. Other than that, they do work for what they are designed for. The donuts are a little on the small side but they still turned out good.
