Bought new pool steps. They recommended filling the railings with sand. There's no way I am putting sand in my pool intentionally, that's just asking for problems. Found these and filled them with pea gravel vice sand. Straps were perfect for attaching to the stair rails and keeping ladder in place. Makes getting the ladder out at the end of the season much easier.

These are good quality weight bags that are easy to fill and provide the needed weight to hold items in place. I use them for umbrella weights, and they sit flat, fit on the umbrella base and do the job for me. The material is sturdy and thick. The handles clip together and are secure and sturdy. For my applications, they provide just the right amount of weight, are not too large or take up too much space. They are easy to fill with whatever material you choose (I used sand). Overall good quality weight bag.

An entire sand bag from Home Depot fit inside the 20L bag. Great quality bag, just what I needed to hold the pool steps in place.
