I used these to modify some guitar hero guitars to my computer for Clone Hero, and they are awesome! I can't notice any delay, and getting these set up with your computer is a step that doesn't exist, just plug and play. The wires it comes with also had a lot of length so I didn't even need to add jumpers, just strip, tin, and solder.

I built a guitar hero controller with this and everything was very responsive. It was simple to use and set up too.

Good product at a great price. Wish the wires were just a tiny bit longer but everything worked great

Works just fine for Raspberry Pi. I can't detect any latency, and all the wiring is made easy with the included loom and wires. Sometimes the slots come undone, but there are so many that you can easily just use the next one.

20 years ago, I used an IDE cable, RJ45 jacks and some networking cabling to wire up my ol homebrew HAPP Controls 4 player cabinet. I remember working in my basement for hours with a soldering iron and a serial cable mapping keyboard controls. I bought two of these kits a couple weeks ago. It took me less than 2 hours to completely replace the hardware with this kit and it is a HUGE upgrade. The KE72 was amazing for its time, but it did have a few hiccups (doing Dalsim's teleport in SF2 HF never worked) but the Easy Gadget 2 is INCREDIBLE. Zero Delay really does mean NO Delay and all buttons can be pressed at the same time without a problem. The wiring kit fit my Happ switches perfectly and the picture included in the document made it a breeze to connect. The longest time I took was to add some wire length to some of the leads (about 3') for a couple buttons I had lower in the cabinet. I was unnecessarily concerned if the extra length would impact performance, as all the buttons worked perfectly. As a guy who started with hacking keyboards in the 90's, I wish I could give it 6 stars. Amazing.

Product works great and came with ebough jumpers for all the plugs and for the il / suzo happ joysticks. I didn't realize this but it does not come with the Simetisu /Sanwa style 5 pin jumper... My joysticks shipped with a connector for joysitck but just has wires on the other end. No connector. So if you want to connect this kit to a Sanwa or Simetisu joystick you will need to source a jumper as well.

Works really well with Retropie/Mame. For the price for two of these I wouldn't even look further. Showed up fast, installed in minutes and I'll probably never had to think about it again.I bought these to replace a chtulu board which I would have to unplug/plug after a soft shutdown/restart of my raspberry pi. These do not suffer from that problem. They work properly.I like that it includes all of the wiring and that each button has a dedicated ground as opposed to the unit I replaced it with which has a common ground that you daisy chain.I also like that it supports both joystick standards. Which includes a 5 pin connector for certain controllers which I'm not personally familiar with.I like that each button uses a connector instead of a screw terminal. There are also optional connectors for auto/clear/turbo. However it didn't come with any documentation for them. But I don't think I'll be using these.

The package arrived very quickly. I used these boards to wire a simple 2 player, 3 button MAME cabinet. With joysticks, buttons, player selects, coin inserts, and an Exit, I needed 19 inputs, and this 2 pack was perfect. The included connectors saved me time stripping wires and soldering, and helped keep things organized. My only complaint is that Windows assigns two boards as joystick 0 and 1, while many front ends and emulators see them as joysticks 1 and 2. There is no way to change how these are seen by the computer. While they still work for every game I've played. It made for quite a bit of difficulty in assigning keys for navigating. I had to use a secondary program to assign keys for that function.

Used these inside my X-Arcade sticks to replace the keyboard encoder that does not work well in RetroPie... Encoder works great and right out of the box. Have 2 of them installed and both show up as separate controllers. Haven't noticed any delay playing stuff so far! Install is super easy as each switch (buttons and joystick) connection has a sense and ground, so no daisy chaining grounds from one or two points. Only beef is the cables are quite short so you can't have the controller too far from the buttons. I could make it work but some of the wires are pretty tight. Keep that in mind if you can't install encoder right next to buttons and sticks.
