Description: The Rockville RHTSB high performance wood speaker stands are designed with appearance, performance, and quality in mind. These stands are perfect for Bookshelf speakers, surround sound speakers and even studio monitors! Our stands are finished with premium furniture-grade paint that will not crack, chip, or peel. They will look great in your living room, family room, den, or even studio. These stands are constructed from high quality medium density fiber core to minimize resonance. Unlike our competitors who use particle board we use a higher quality wood in the construction of our stands. With the included brass and rubber spikes as well as the included EVA speaker isolation pads you can feel confident that your speakers will be sturdy and perform optimally no matter what floor surface they are on. In addition to appearance and quality we also made sure to focus on performance. The height of these stands are 36”. The reason we chose this specific height is that after testing stands at other heights we noticed this height was optimal for listening. In addition to performance we also would like to note that at 36” these stands look gorgeous! The included isolation pads not only provide a no-slip surface but help your speakers achieve superior acoustic quality. Another really cool feature I would like to mention is the empty body design. By adding sand to the body of the stand you can increase the weight if you so choose. The load capacity of these stands are 60 lbs. Most other stands on the market have a maximum load capacity of 20 lbs. which really is not enough for a lot of speakers on the market. These stands are sturdy, built well, look great, and out-perform the competition so buy with confidence!

I found it hard to find a paid of speaker stands. They were either ridiculously expensive or had many bad reviews. These stands were medium priced and I find them very stable, sturdy and good looking. I added sand to them to improve their stability and I have no concerns about them being knocked over. I like the way that you can hide the wire down the back of them. I would recommend these stands

I recently revamped my home theater / home audio system beginning with taking advantage of Polk Audio’s sale prices on 4 RTiA7 for front and surrounds along with a CSiA6 center. Upon doing so, I upgraded my Yamaha RX-V867 to an RX-V2085 to send more power. Upon seeing this new receiver supports front and rear presence speakers in all surround modes, I decided to add 4 Polk RTiA3 bookshelf speakers to the mix. This presented a dilemma - where the heck do I put them!? I didn’t have a place nor did I want to make a place to mount them on the wall either with the hardware on / with the speaker nor with wall mounts. Didn’t want to put them on top of the 7s. I saw these advertised as for RTiA3 but was somewhat skeptical. However, for the price, I figured why not see if they’ll do the trick. The dimensions of the top of the stand (2 sizes) seemed, compared to the dimensions of the speakers, to be lacking. Then they arrived, a day before the speakers. Got them put together quite swiftly. Still unsure if they’d be a sturdy support for the somewhat large and heavy RTiA3, I did admire how aesthetically pleasing they were. The next morning the 3’s arrived and I found that these stands were PERFECT in every way. They are very sturdy and the bottom includes rubber feet or spikes. I have hardwood floors so I went w the rubber. These did not need to be adjusted, however if that were the case to prevent any wobble, they can be adjusted quite simply. You can put sand or some other material to add weight in the center portion of the stand prior to affixing the top. I did not, however, because I feel they are sturdy enough to not need the support of added weight. Using the larger top plate, this leaves a very small sliver of unused space on either side of the speaker with the speaker having a very small, negligible overlap over the front and rear of the top plate, perhaps 1/10 of an inch. So small it’s less than an afterthought. Aesthetically, I found that the “wood grain” matches the RTiA3 almost perfectly. There is a slight variation with how deep but from a distance and to be honest, up close it would almost appear that the speaker and stand are made by the same manufacturer as they so closely aesthetically resemble one another in color and grain. I’m very pleased that I bought these. The height of 36” is perfect as the midrange on the 3 is at about the height of the tweeter on the 7s. Considering I didn’t want to mount the 3s, this solution was the perfect alternative. If I am to be even more honest I think had I wanted to mount them, done so, and then seen these stands, I would have been disappointed I mounted them. Definitely recommend for any bookshelf, and for certain for the RTiA3.

A few quick points.1. The material quality is better than expected. This was nice surprised considering how many other items from China in this price range are junk.2. Assembled easy enough, but be forewarned that if you plan to pour sand or other medium in the stands to weigh them down, watch the online video and don't follow the paper manual sequence. The manual tells you to attach the speaker platform to the base pole first, but then you need to turn it upside down to pour in sand. The video show the tech doing the reverse and attaching the base first. Much cleaner assembly.3. I poured 8 lbs of playground sand p/stand. Works fine but could have used more.4. The carpet spikes work fine on my very low pile rug. Didn't use the rubber feet.5. The stands are taller than I imagined, but are the perfect height for elevating bookshelves to head level over a sofa.6. Fit my Klipsch R-51M bookshelf speakers perfectly and they look cool!!Only negative is that one of the screw holes seemed a stripped when attaching a base plate. Coating the screw in wood glue did the trick. All in all, if they last and don't get knocked over by my kids, a great value. Totally worth the money, and I'll definitely get another set if I buy 2 more speakers for rear-surrounds.

Pros: Most speaker stands are between 20-27 inch tall. I was happy to find these speaker stands that are 36 inch tall. They are very sturdy, strong build. They come with 2 different size top plates (depending on the size of your speakers, you can use the appropriate size top plate). It also comes with 2 sets of isolation spikes to attach to the bottom ofthe main plate (4 spikes in each set). One set is, just metal spikes, designed to use on carpet. The other set, with wider, round plastic base, is designed for bare floor. Assembly was easy but instructions were not perfect. It also comes with isolation pads that you can stick to the top of the top plate to help minimize resonance. I have not used them because my speakers are very heavy and I don't hear any resonance. I have placed my Klipsch RP-160M speakers on these stands. If you read the reviews of Klipsch RP-160M speakers, you will see that they are very heavy (about 22 pounds each). These speakers stands perfectly do the job of carrying the weight of those speakers. The delivery was on time.Cons: My main criticism is that the little plastic bag that holds the screws, bolts and other little assembly parts were torn apart inside the box and they were scattered all over inside the box. It was inconvenient to search for them and pick them up. I've read several other reviews that mention this very same problem. The manufacturing company needs to improve their operational process of placing that bag. It cannot be very hard to place it in such a way so that it doesn't get torn apart. Assembly was easy but instructions are a bit flawed. For instance, when you are placing the top plate, it's not clear which side the top plate should be facing. The picture in the instructions (step 1) indicate that one side of the stand is curved and the other side is straight but that is not the case. The stand is equally curved all around. It's not a big deal and at the end you can figure out which way you want to assemble it based on your nreeds but I am just pointing out that the instructions are not perfect.Overall, I would highly recommend these speaker stands, especially if you are looking for speaker stands that are strong and tall.
