I used to use Bungee electric gates for the horses, which I do like, but decided to try these for a new paddock and I'm very happy! They're much more sturdy and I love how short they become when coiled up vs the bungee gate that still would need to be wrapped up onto the post or something. They also get an A+ for visibility and conductivity. I'll be swapping all of my electric gates to these.

We use a good number of these gates and find them sturdy and practical. The way they spring back out of the way is a real plus for me if a horse gets a little frisky on the lead. (Arthritic hands make gates a challenge.) This gate is convenient too, but it works best if not stretched more than a few feet. I like to run a white tape or braid through the inside for increased visibility - it has a generous diameter. The only negative for me has been sometimes I struggle with closing it; a larger diameter on the eye bolt would help. Very good value.
