But i like that the snaps aren't as strong as name brand. the name brand ones were too strong almost ripping the fabric before they come apart. if you're looking for snaps that stay secure under normal use but come apart easier try these.

when i purchased my snap fasterners kit it came with an extra bag of white snaps which i went through before using any of the coloured ones. This purchase of replacement snaps fit the attachment " pliers " perfectly. They are of the same quality (probably the same manufacturer) and came in three different bags. One of the buttons, one for the male and one for the female. This makes it so much easier to find the part you want as when (in the original kit) they were all jumbled together sometimes the pieces were stuck together. In addition, this was the best price i could find....so i am very satisfied.

I bought the starter set a couple of months ago and am using them to attach unpaper towels together. In the starter set, out of the 40 I did, 1 maybe 2 broke- which since it was my first time every using them, I guess was expected. In this new set of all black ones, I broke 6 or 7 just trying to get 30 snaps done, some were the prong pieces, some were the round pieces. I'm hoping I just wasn't doing something correct, although i didn't really seem to be doing anything different on the ones that broke, then on the ones that didn't break.
