How to use thick wooden wick?
STEP1: Prepare materials
STEP2: Melt soy wax
STEP3: Spray the olive oil on the wood wicks
STEP4: let them dry off
STEP5: Insert a wick into a metal base, and use stickers stick the wick on bottom of candle jar
STEP6: Pouring wax and wait for dry off
STEP7: Cut the wick to 1/4”, wait for 24 hours before lighting the candle.
- 1. For these wooden wicks, we suggest you use a 3-4” container and if your container is larger, you must use two or three wicks.
- 2. If your testing candles don’t burn well, please soak the wicks in olive oil for 30 mins before making candle. we have done tests, olive oil helps.
- 3. Allow your finished candles to cool down for 24h before using it.
- 4. Keep your wicks sealed and keep them in dry place, stay away from humid for next time use.

I had high hopes for these since they're wider and a little thicker than others I've used, but unfortunately I was disappointed. They won't stay lit. I sprayed them with olive oil just like your supposed to do with wooden wicks, yet they still don't stay lit. Therefore, I cannot recommend this brand.

I love these wicks! They are thick and luxurious! The fit my candle jars perfectly and they burn really well, I usually double them up and I did again with these and it's amazing, the crackle is beautiful!

Very nice wooden wicks. This package comes with everything you need except the wax and mold. The product image doesn't show it, but it also includes little warning stickers to CYA if you decide to sell candles (the little "warning, candles have fire and burn things" stickers lol). It has the tabs to hold the wicks in place as you pour. These are perfect if you're learning to make candles, or are an expert selling them professionally.

Just what I needed to make my fall candles. These wood wicks gives a bit more of sophistication to the candle in my opinion. These are easy to use and look great. I measured my tin and cut the wicks before I poured so I don't risk messing the candle up after it sets. Definitely recommend.

Buyer beware. These wood wicks are absolutely horrible. They will not stay lit at all. And when they are burning for a few seconds they put off a lot of soot and a disgusting smell.. They are paper thin. These wicks are much thinner than the ones I normally buy. I was in a pinch and decided to order on Amazon from an unknown seller / company... big mistake. I should have known better. DO NOT BUY.
