I was able to heat up at 5 gallon bucket full of water to nearly boiling point in about 15 minutes. I'm using it to wash my car with hot water, and it works like a charm. I never realized how convenient it would be to have hot water outside anywhere I want it. Hook it up to an extension cord and throw it off in the water and you're good to go. Just make sure you have someone stay with it, because if it ran without water, or got knocked over it could be dangerous. I only use of the two heaters for 5 gallons of water, but you can use both if you have a larger quantity needing heated. It comes with a temperature probe, some sandpaper, and steel wool. If it starts to rust you can dust it up with the sandpaper and steel wool to bring it back to life, but I haven't had any issues with that.

These work great I put them in a bucket of water so that I could sous vide. They work quickly to heat up the water. They seem to be pretty durable and I can set them to the correct temperature that I need.

I bought this to use as a bathtub heater and am incredibly happy with using it for that purpose. We use a bath filter to filter the bath water for our baby and water is expensive enough as it is already, so I wanted to pick up an immersion water heater like this to see if we could use it to reuse and reheat bath water. This unit brings a full 60 gallon bathtub up to 100 degrees in 3 hours or less. It's super easy to use too. Just plug it in and drop it in the water. It is quiet while in operation and seems to be very well built. I'm really happy with this unit and how it makes bath time so much easier!
