so far so good, was a little strange to install from the standpoint of removing protective covers and such, but was ok just have to be careful because puffs of toner come out when you pull the plastic strip that covers the drum. the other thing i hadnt thought of is that unlike the HP cartridges which come with a box and a label to return the used one for recycling, there isnt such an option with these. i dont want to throw away the old cartridge but am unsure of what to do with it. as far as printing goes, all has worked just fine, even the HP printer has not complained that much about it, i expected it to nag me about it not being an HP branded cartridge but it has not it just says its isnt in the app but works just fine. if HP didnt charge outrageous prices, then id buy theirs but in this day and age with everything costing too much, there was no way i was paying that much for the HP version. $59 for TWO off-brand cartridges vs $116 for ONE HP is a no-brainer decision. i shouldnt have to buy black toner again for probably 5+ years.

No complaints here. The cartridge was sealed up properly and easy to open and install. I just popped it in my 10-year-old HP M277 Color LaserJet and that was that. Very dark, clear, and crisp results. No problems so far after 500 pages or so. I did not change out any of my color toner at the same time so you can install this separately with no issues there.I can't speak as to electronic compatibility as I disabled firmware updates on my HP more than eight years ago. Never in a million years would I re-enable firmware updates or otherwise upgrade the firmware. Why would anyone ever want that on a personal printer in the first place? Jeez HP, stop trying to gouge us!

I've been using this for a couple of months now with no issue. The chip reads as normal in the printer (unlike some that trigger and HP warning). Ink is good.

I work from a home office so I feed my printers lots of black toner cartridges. After market toner cartridges in the past have been trouble. They have been hard to open, coated the inside of my printer, and my printed pages, with toner powder- and in general have been awful... However, my HP printer [HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw, manufactured 6/11/2016] is close to needing replaced so I really did not have anything to lose if these cartridges fouled it up.The Office Color 201X cartridges were nicely packaged. All the covers to protect the sensitive parts during shipping came off pretty easily... until it came the removal of the plastic strip holding the toner in the cartridge. That was very hard to pull off. Once I got it started I thought it would get easier. Ummm, NO. I had to grab the plastic strip with all the black toner on it down near the cartridge to get the plastic to release. I had toner all over my hand from the plastic strip, but very little powder came out of the cartridge. I am slightly impressed. The printer initialized and recognized the cartridge was there and full immediately! I did not have to fiddle around and do anything with HP authentication. I’ve been using the Office Color cartridge for 3 weeks now. It is printing nicely. I am not noticing any difference in quality between the Office Color brand and the OEM. If it continues to perform and deliver a similar print yield, I will definitely buy more. At a mere 25% of the price of HP cartridges (assuming these are high yield) these are a sweet deal.

These cartridges work very well, contain more ink and cost significantly less than HP's. There's a warning on the label that you need to pay attention to, though. If the cartridge works in your HP, it's because it's an older model and hasn't been fully updated, as is the case of my HP Printer. If the printer suggests updating it's FIRMWARE, just say "no". Usually, I would say "do it", but HP has a new program in their new printers that will force you to use their ink cartridges only. I think this should be illegal as it forms a monopoly of sorts. The only way to avoid this monopoly is to avoid buying HP. As soon as all of the manufacturers do this, we won't have any choice in the matter.

The ink is good. There is no waste of ink. And the colors are very sharp and vivid.
