Amazon had the best price on this kit. Install was straight forward. The design and materials of these parts are much better than the OEM rack wheels. Yes, my dishwasher was about 2 years old when the OEM rack wheels broke.

I got this because all the wheels were falling off the top rack of my Whirlpool WDT970SAHZ0 dishwasher. The instructions were hard to read because the pictures and font were really small, but the instructions were good. With their help I was able to remove the broken parts and install this kit in about 30 minutes. The new kit fit well. This kit is nice as the rack wheels are mounted to a medal bracket instead of the original plastic bracket. It should last much longer than the original. It was also nice this was in stock at the DC so it arrived in 1 day.

Worked, but not an easy DIY job. One piece not molded correctly. Had to finesse the fit. Holding up well. Dishwasher working better!

Our dishwasher upper rack connection to the slideout broke on one side and was hanging precariously. I knew I needed to replace the parts that broke after exhausting all of the glue/epoxy methods I tried to repair it. I found this set which claimed to be an upgrade using metal in place of the plastic, so I decided to give it a try. First, it works, and it works well, so ultimately I fully recommend this for repairs. It's strudy and a definite upgrade to the parts that came with the dishwasher. That said, second I have to caviat my praise. The instructions for installation are junk. I ended up putting one side on wrong because the instructions explain nothing clearly. I figured it out after I had it all together and I had to take it apart and put it back together again. I did figure it out, but the instructions were as close to useless as you can get. SO PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE DOING. I put the other side on without issue. Once it was all together it slid back into the dishwasher without any problems and we've had no issues since. Like the OEM parts this has an adjustment for rack depth, but it's really stiff so just be aware that it's a little more difficult to lower and raise the rack. But it's so much better overall in quality that I can't even complain about the crap instructions or the stiffness in rack adjustment. If you need these to fix your dishwasher I do fully endorse and recommend these.

This is my first time repairing the top rack of our Whirlpool dishwasher with THIS kit, but my THIRD time repairing it overall. I wish I would have found this kit earlier. Based on the quality of the parts with this kit I am confident my repair job will last a good long time. The brackets with the track wheels are metal, the wheels themselves are a much thicker and better plastic than the previous repair kits I ordered, and the other replacement parts that are plastic are also of much higher quality.Other reviewers have said that the instructions are small and terrible and poorly written - and I would agree with that. In this day of YouTube, though, it really did not matter to me. I just searched there for something like "Whirlpool Dishwasher Repair - How to Replace the Rack Adjuster Kit". There are several 10 minute videos that are very good and easy to follow.I think there was also a review that said the metal brackets were very sharp. I carefully ran my fingers over the ones in my kit before getting into the replacement. They were not nice and smooth, but I also did not find any areas I thought could easily cut me. They are just slightly rough, and nothing you will probably come in contact with once your install is done.

I was completely skeptical that1. This would be the right parts, and2. That I would be able to do this on my own.The package arrived. I already had the broken top rack out. I read the instructions several times and started the disassembly process. The pics in the instructions are small and so was the print, but I managed. I was nervous at one point, so I pulled up a video of a guy doing this repair. It answered all my questions.The repair worked awesome and fit perfectly. It is actually better than new since the replacement parts are partially made of metal and much more sturdy.I’m not a repair person by any means, but I can use a screwdriver. With minimal skill, you can fix your dishwasher rack and save a ton of money and frustration. Follow the instructions and watch the video.

Installed this on my Whirlpool WDT970SAHV Dishwasher. The original part failed just after 1 year. I bought this after watching some videos online and reading reviews. This kit is easy to install and is superior to what the OEM provides.

Only had my dishwasher for a yr. But of corse everything is plastic.Glad I got this kit. My hubby switched out other things not only the broke part. Better quality.He watched a YouTube video and was easy

Parts came as described. Installation was very easy on our Whirlpool dishwasher - used an online video for installation reference as the instruction manual was hard to follow.Overall, very happy with purchase.
