It was a direct replacement for the original so it was easy to install. It's only been installed for a day, but so far it seems to be working.

Our old refrigerator at work stopped working. We talked about getting a new one, but after looking at prices, we decided there had to be a better option. I ordered this timer and installed it, which only took about 15 minutes, and everything started right up and was defrosting like it should. Saved us several hundred dollars. I then spent the next 2 hours cleaning the refrigerator, which was the worst part of the job. If your refrigerator is freezing up and not going into defrost mode, try this. Normally, it's the timer, but it could be the small thermostat as well. For the price, get both and replace both for peace of mind.

Replaced fridge defrost timer and after a just a few months it started sticking in defrost. Ordered another one from same seller, probably shouldn't have done that, will see how long this one lasts.UPDATE:the 2nd timer didn't last long either. These defrost timers are absolute crap!!!!!! Save your money DO NOT buy from this seller.I have contacted seller twice by email and once by phone, he does not return any effort of communication. CRAPPY PRODUCT!! Seller does not stand by what he sells!!

Worked on my fridigdair fridge,,I was having a freeze up and wanted to go to a shorter timed defrost cycle while replacing my element along with defrost themo switch as well,,and it is all working flawlessly now for around 35 dollars,,that's Amazon and it's distributors
