If you have the Frigidaire FFSS2314QPAA refrigerator and it’s not cooling, you need this TSD2 Refrigerator Start Relay Device. This part is responsible for starting the compressor, and the clicking sound you hear at the bottom of the fridge is likely the old relay failing to engage. Replacing it is straightforward and can save you from an expensive service call. Once installed, my fridge started cooling perfectly again if not even better than before within a few hours. I hope this is what you are looking for and it works!

Bought this as my old relay was dead. As usual - watch enough YouTube videos and you can pretty much figure out anything. Easy to replace and fixed the problem right away. Just had to give the fridge a while to cool back down. Everything has been perfect since the replacement!

I noticed a lound clicking noise before the compressor would run on my 8 year old Whirlpool refrigerator. Other than that fridge works perfectly. Quick google search reveals relay near compressor as a likely issue and eventually relay would fail and compressor would no longer run. 15 minutes to install and no more clicking.

This is the exact part I needed and works perfect. The same part locally at an appliance store would have been over $90.

I called the local appliance store to get a price on the part. They want $80 dollars. Six months later this one is holding up great for much less than half the price

I used this item to replace the starter relay that had failed in my maytag fridge freezer (French door style). It was simple to do. Watched a YouTube video and took about 10 minutes to replace it. Appliance repair technician charges approx $300 to do same task. I'm a 65 year old female with no experience. Anyone can do it!. Good part, great price and delivery overnight.

Ruideli had mistakenly listed the relay starter part number that I was looking for. When I received the part and noticed it didn't match what I had, I wrote to them through Amazon and they responded right away. After clarifying that my part was no longer manufactured (in the meantime, I have since contacted Whirlpool and even they don't make this part any longer....), I was told that I would be fully refunded and needn't return the part. I'm confident that it was an honest mistake. Yu Zhao was very apologetic and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this company the next time I'm looking for a part. BTW, why can't the refrigerator industry standardize these darn relay starters!
