I really like the sander. I used it on wood so far and it worked great. It’s pretty large, so it can cover a lot at once.It would be nice if at least one sand paper was included because I didn’t have anything like that at home, but I cut some other shapes to fit it. Now I will order something for that.Thank you!

This is a big sanding block for curved surfaces. There is a turnbuckle that you can turn to make the sanding surface concave or convex depending on what you are sanding. Very handy to have if you're sanding a boat or car body. You can also keep it flat. the sandpaper is adhered to the pad using hook and loop. would have preferred clamps on either end so you could cut standard sheets. It has a vec port but you need paper with holes in it for it to work. The price certainly is cheap enough at 20 bucks.

I'm a woodworker, not an auto body guy. I sand boards, not hoods. That being said, this tool comes in handy for a lot more than just body work. The design is pretty ingenious. You just twist the handle to create a concave or convex curve in the sanding block. I love how it is infinitely adjustable rather than using a block with a fixed shape or a soft foam interface pad. You can actually shape this sander to match the curve you're working on, which is a bit of a game changer for woodworking. It's like the handheld version of a spindle sander and disc sander combined in one.The sandpaper is a bit of a specialty item, so you might want to consider that before buying. I used (and suggest) the cubitron stuff, but there are a lot of other options available online that won't break the bank (I'm not sure if you could find it at a normal hardware/big box store, though).

it can be adjusted to form to the surface you are sanding.

This is a large, 2-handed, flexible sander. I got it because I'm sanding areas of my pickup truck after applying Bondo, in preparation for priming and painting. The sander can be set flat of course. To change the bow or shape, you have to crank on the turnbuckle-like rotating threaded black piece in the top. You can match it to the contour of the bodywork (or furniture etc) you're working on. This works well and feels good in the hands. I won't be using it every day, but when I need it, there it is.This tool comes without sandpaper (or instructions). On this product page, you'll see hook-and-loop sandpaper rolls you can cut to size. You'll need that in the grit or grits you want for your project. The vacuum port doesn't function well, but no stars off since it's kind of a bonus attachment.
