These small towels and very soft, very small, very absorbent face towels. But once you have washed them before the first use, be prepared to spend a lot of time removing a lot of loose threads. It was no joke for me, I must have spent a little more then 1 hour just pulling all the loose threads off of these 24 towels.I have never experienced anything like that before when washing towels. These towels have 2 different textured sides, one is a little rougher, the other is ultra soft but both sides are very absorbent. I got these to use in my home gym, for this purpose their small size is great, I can wipe my face while working out and throw them into the hamper for washing.They wash fine in the machine, however you will find lots of loose threads hanging off of them after each wash. I guess we will see how long they hold together before the threads all come apart but for now, they are doing the job.
