From cleaning copper while doing plumbing, to a light drywall fix-these versatile sanding sponges are G R E A T !How do they compare to 3M, etc.? I noticed no difference whatsoever. Price is the real knockout punch. Three to five sponges from the big box stores for this 25 pack? Need I say more.

These are very useful sanding sponges made from sandpaper and foam. They are useful for a variety of tasks, including woodworking, renovations, and metalwork. The grid range in this particular kit is suited to fine finishes, epoxy, clear coat, etc. Once you are up to 2500 grit you are sanding with very fine abrasive. The foam is flexible and the abrasive is uniform.
