Works well. Using them outdoors in a small greenhouse. Unfortunately, we had a cold spell that got down below freezing and when the timer went on the filaments were damaged by the sudden heat change. These bulbs are not good when turning on when very cold. Work great otherwise.

I used this to heat baby chicks every January. I keep them in then basement in a dog crate with a lamp that uses this infrared bulb. Works great and usually last a season or two. I have it on constantly for two months.
