Currently this is priced at £90 with a 30% discount bringing it down to £56. In my view it is still overpriced though.The unit resembles steam wallpaper strippers - a base unit linked by a long plastic hose to a hand nozzle. It's more compact than my wallpaper strippers, but otherwise similar.Operation is simple - plug in and set the steam rate level. Wait for steam to emerge - at first water comes out as it's busy heating up the long pipe.Once steam emerges it's a pretty constant jet which is quite impressive. The unit makes a noise similar to a filter coffee machine suggesting it is pumping small quantities of water at a time into a heating chamber where it is vapourised.A few notes - firstly the price is quite high - the build quality here isn't that high, and while functional, it's in the basic functionality category.Secondly the construction worries me slightly. The water tank is filled from the top and has a drain on the bottom, but both apertures are just covered by a thin rubber seal. My wallpaper strippers both are made of far heavier duty plastic with a metal reinforced, pressure-resistant lid on the water tank. Granted the operational design here is clearly different, the water tank is obviously not under pressure, but it just doesn't feel robust enough to be managing a high steam flow rate.Finally the use of a long hose will restrict usage slightly because it allows for more much cooling of the steam. Basically you're going to get a lot more drips using this, than a device where the steam outlet is much closer to the boiler.Overall - at a price of around £40 I'd say this was worth a shot. Can't recommend on current price though.

This is a good steam cleaner. Fill with water, switch on, select the power setting - and it produces a large volume of steam really quickly. It's quite a powerful unit.Still, the case is fairly lightweight, and so are the fittings, so it's probably not suited to heavy duty use over large areas. For small spot steam cleaning, cleaning hobs, sinks, showers etc on a periodic basis - it's very good.For the price it's reasonable.

I have used handheld steam cleaner machines before, and this one has some distinct advantages.Pros+ high capacity water tank - this lasts for ages and fills really easily, without needing to open up high-pressure valves like my older machines+ variable steam flow - the flow is really excellent and can be easily adjusted with + and - buttons on a touchscreen+ long hose - the hose is much longer than my other ones, and still produces excellent steam flow despite the length.+ extension rod - the steam nozzle has an extension rod which does make getting the steam into narrow areas much easierCons- Nylon brushes - just like every other steamer I have used, it comes with nylon brush heads which have a tendency to quickly soften and lose their shape after being used for just a few minutes. I wish there was an alternative brush design that is actually more suitable for use with a steamer !I had great results cleaning my hob, and without chemicals had a great surface finish as well as digging out some ancient rust/dirt from the burners. Stained areas around the base of my sink tap also started to shift with this cleaner, and thats something that I havent been able to properly clean for ages. I'm impressed with the results.The balance of advantages over disadvantages is very favourable for this model, and it will replace my older machines without doubt. The price at the time of review was around £55, normally £80. I think the normal price is too high but it represents fair value at the lower price.

I've been using this steam cleaner for a week now and it's great for tackling tough cleaning jobs. I have a larger steam cleaner but this one is so nice because it is small and easy to transport from room to room. It is also handy to have just to clean up small messes in the kitchen. It heats up quickly and produces a powerful amount of steam. I've used it on my bathroom tiles, kitchen counters and even my car interior. It does a great job of cutting through grime and dirt. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a versatile and effective steam cleaner. Love all of the included tools that attach to the cleaner.

I am using this for basic housekeeping. It is not a miracle cleaner but I do find it helpful for difficult to reach places. It did not thoroughly clean my grout by itself but was convenient to wash away residue after I scrubbed. It also needs to be filled frequently. This being said I will still use it to disinfect areas and for specific tasks.

Works pretty good...although you need to be really careful! It gets VERY hot, so recommend using heat gloves (I used the ones that came with my hair straightener!) because if you accidentally touch toward the end of it or change tips before it cools you will regret it!

Considering the great economical price of this machine; it works great! It does get very hot, steam is a decent pressure for the price. Lightweight for portability. I did use it to disinfect and help clean my whole kitchen. It did make my job easier. I did feel like my kitchen was cleaner than usual. Glad I bought it. If I cleaned professionally, I would have invested in a more expensive unit, but for personal home use. Great deal!

Unfortunately this steamer drips a lot while in use regardless of the level you’re using it on. Which reminds me, I noticed the same steam power in setting 1 as in setting 6. It works well if you're planning on steam cleaning your floors, but if you’re cleaning cabinets or stove range you must put a towel to catch the water that drips. I didn’t even try using it to clean my sofas or my kids stuffies.I’ll try playing with it a bit and will update the review after a few days.
