My old, cheap, yet faithful soldering iron station broke recently, and I figured why not give it a look see. The 40W iron was paired with a stand and a very simple heat control knob which happened to be a potentiometer - that broke! Never saw that before, so I de-soldered the thing and was able to take it apart to peek inside and measure the ohms along the way. Found these as replacements, and they didn't quite fit on the teensy single-layer circuit board, but no biggie to just extend their leads with a few solid-core wires and get it attached again that way. $3.00 each, and the station works like a champ again. Wonderful.

My Chinese LP copy had a terrible sound, it was harsh and unpleasant. I replaced pickups, bridge and nut but still the sound was unpleasant. As last resource I tried to change the potentiometers and what a change!! I couldn't be happier surprisingly this was the most evident improvement on the overall guitar sound. Even if those pots are not a full size the sound is clear and bright. Plus is not necessary to drill the body. Definitely a good option for cheap import guitars.

Junk. I tightened the nuts to normal tension and the shafts broke.

Good quality. Small diameter pots not as good as Bourns, but still good quality.

This pot works great! Fits perfectly as a replacement for Fender Classic Series Volume pedal. Nice taper, very smooth, no scratchiness, excellent. It fits through the hole and aligns with the pulleys/string mechanism just right. Couldn't be happier with this part. Thanks Music Lily!
